We've partnered with an innovative AI-powered B2B SaaS company based in New York City. As they continue to scale, they are committed to refining and optimizing their revenue processes to drive growth and enhance their market presence.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking their first Director of Revenue Operations. This strategic role will focus initially on Sales Operations, collaborating closely with Marketing and Sales teams to implement systems that drive measurable results within the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Operations: Serve as a strategic advisor to revenue leadership, refine sales processes, optimize infrastructure, and enhance go-to-market effectiveness. Prepare internal and executive-level reports to track sales cycle acceleration and productivity improvements.
  • CRM & Technology Management: Lead the evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales technology, ensuring that teams utilize the right tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data & Analytics: Develop and manage comprehensive reporting systems to track performance, identify trends, refine forecasting, and generate insights that support revenue growth.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance pipeline visibility, lead flow, and forecasting accuracy while driving operational excellence across the sales function.
  • Growth & Innovation: Stay ahead in the evolving AI landscape by collaborating with marketing and engineering to equip the revenue organization with innovative tools and growth strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey, from initial engagement to retention, fostering alignment across all departments.

Requirements

  • B2B SaaS experience with a profound understanding of sales operations best practices.
  • Experience in both early-stage and scaling companies, with a proven ability to build and optimize processes.
  • A builder who can design and implement sales infrastructure while driving operational excellence.
  • Expertise in forecasting, outbound strategy, MEDPICC, and QBR execution to boost sales performance.
  • Proven track record of establishing a strong operating cadence across teams to foster execution and accountability.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams.
  • Experience leading small teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • A forward-thinking, growth-oriented mindset in leveraging tooling and go-to-market strategies for enhanced efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Ideally possess experience in growth phases of $10M to $50M.
