Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Startup Account Executive to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for closing net-new business from an inbound funnel of early-stage startups (1-50 employees). This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a technology revolution and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery to closing.
  • Manage a primarily inbound funnel of leads.
  • Conduct technical demos and advise buyers on best practices.
  • Qualify and understand the needs of prospects effectively.
  • Convert qualified prospects into customers through a structured sales process including demos and 14-day pilot programs.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets consistently.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of closing experience in SMB or Mid-Market SaaS.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and coachable.
  • Experience selling development tools or API products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with selling to technical buyers such as Heads of Engineering or CTOs.
  • Previous technical experience is desirable.
  • Startup experience, especially in seed or Series A companies, is a plus.
