As they continue to grow, they are seeking two founding Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join their team in New York City.
Role Overview
The BDR will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by connecting with potential customers, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how the product can address their challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team at the forefront of the construction tech space.
Responsibilities
- Outbound prospecting to future customers to identify their business needs and challenges.
- Source and set up initial high-quality meetings for the sales team through various methods including cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Consistently exceed monthly targets for meetings booked and sales opportunities created.
- Maintain CRM integrity to support accurate forecasting and data-driven outbound strategies.
- Qualify and develop inbound leads through the sales funnel.
- Become a subject matter expert in the construction industry, representing the company as an innovative leader.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a startup environment selling software to mid-market businesses.
- Demonstrated integrity and accountability in all work responsibilities.
- A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt based on feedback.
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills, particularly over the phone.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
