Role Overview: Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager to join their Charlotte hub. The ideal candidate will work closely with the company's largest clients, fostering long-lasting relationships and driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse customer base, proactively addressing their needs with tailored solutions.
- Expand revenue per account by discovering new use cases and identifying additional opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Professional Services, Engineering, and Design to meet customer requirements.
- Identify and engage new contacts within key accounts who could benefit from the company's solutions.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly and annual performance forecasts.
- Prepare detailed reports on account status and communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving challenging client requests or escalations as needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Account Management or Key Account Management, with a focus on expansion targets.
- Demonstrated success in expanding a book of business with enterprise clients (over 1000 employees).
- Experience in closing complex deals worth six figures.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time and experience in face-to-face selling environments.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Aptitude for influencing key stakeholders, including executive and C-level individuals.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and reporting on metrics.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and a keen attention to detail.
