Recently, they've expanded their offerings by acquiring a retail insights platform that provides AI-powered tools to improve in-store execution and shelf presence.

Position Overview

As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in expanding market presence by driving revenue growth with the newly acquired retail insights solution. You will manage the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects to closing deals with consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. Your primary objective will be to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets while collaborating with a supportive team and leveraging various sales tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy to achieve or exceed territory quota through existing and new accounts.
  • Build a robust pipeline, targeting 3x-4x of quota through inbound leads and strategic outbound efforts.
  • Manage sales cycles from discovery through to close, ensuring structured progress at each stage.
  • Consistently convert new prospects into paying customers using established sales methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Become an expert on product offerings to effectively pitch and demonstrate solutions to clients.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline and revenue forecast for the quarter.
  • Work with internal teams, including Marketing and Product, to refine sales strategies and streamline workflow.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector or B2B software sales.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong client-centric mindset with the ability to articulate the value of solutions based on client needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Results-oriented self-starter with a passion for growth and development.
