Role Overview
We are seeking a Founding Account Executive who will play a crucial role in shaping sales strategy, cultivating relationships, and delivering significant impact in a fast-paced startup environment. This is an opportunity to be more than just another Account Executive; you will help define the future of the company.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, developing relationships with CFOs, Finance Teams, HR Teams, and Legal Teams.
- Create innovative outbound strategies to engage potential clients and generate a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to refine sales processes, messaging, and the overall go-to-market strategy.
- Lead discovery calls and product demos that effectively communicate our value proposition and generate excitement among prospects.
- Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate contracts that foster long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Account Executive experience in B2B SaaS with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
- Experience selling to CFOs, Finance Teams, HR Teams, and Legal Teams, with an understanding of their challenges and solutions.
- Strong business development skills, including outbound prospecting and strategic pipeline management.
- Startup experience is essential; you thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and enjoy building processes from the ground up.
- Must be based in NYC and eager to collaborate in person with the leadership team.
