Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Director of Business Development to lead the charge in expanding our client's presence in the S&OP and FP&A markets. This position is perfect for a sales hunter with a proven track record of securing new business and driving growth in competitive enterprise software landscapes. You will be instrumental in building the S&OP business line from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales cycle, managing everything from prospecting to closing deals in the S&OP and FP&A sectors.
- Identify and engage with enterprise accounts where AI-powered solutions can challenge and displace existing, outdated offerings.
- Develop and manage a high-value sales pipeline, implementing strategies to enhance deal velocity and achieve revenue targets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, showcasing how AI-driven solutions can enhance planning and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market messaging and positioning.
- Contribute to shaping and executing the growth strategy for the S&OP business.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and executive discussions to establish it as a leader in AI solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, using insights to inform sales strategies and customer interactions.
- Assist in developing the S&OP business unit, with an opportunity for leadership growth as the vertical evolves.
Qualifications
- Proven success in closing new enterprise business within the software, AI solutions, or planning/analytics sectors.
- In-depth understanding of Sales & Operations Planning, FP&A, or related enterprise planning functions.
- Ability to operate as a strategic individual contributor with the potential to transition into a leadership role.
- Strong executive presence, negotiation capabilities, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience in dynamic, high-growth startups or scaling SaaS organizations is an advantage.
