Company Overview

We've partnered with a fast-growing technology startup that is redefining the landscape in their industry. They are looking to build their sales function from the ground up and are seeking a dynamic individual to join their team.

Role Overview

Our client is looking for their first Account Executive who is excited about the challenge of building a 0 to 1 sales function. This role requires a self-starter who will work closely with and report directly to the Founder & CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Own full cycle sales: manage inbound and outbound sales processes, lead management, product demos, and closing sales.
  • Collaborate with support teams to upsell and cross-sell existing customers into larger product bundles/contracts.
  • Create new opportunities through proactive cold calling.
  • Maintain data integrity and health within the CRM.
  • Build reporting visualizations based on pipeline management and develop KPIs for the sales function.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales roles with a proven track record of success, preferably within healthcare technology startups.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, and other sales tools.
  • Personality traits: Persistence, determination, and a positive, enjoyable demeanor.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $60K-80K base, with On Target Earnings of $120K-160K.
  • Equity options available (0.5-1.0%).

  • Hybrid work model with a preference for candidates located in Columbus, OH.
