Role Overview
We're seeking a resourceful and agile Account Executive to join our client's growing team. In this role, you'll leverage your sales expertise to implement innovative strategies, drive new business, and deliver exceptional customer service along with product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Drive Sales and Manage Pipeline:
- Execute outbound Pipeline Generation (PG), prospect new accounts and lead initial discovery and qualification.
- Qualify, progress, and close warm leads while laying the foundation for predictable revenue growth.
- Meet monthly targets for pipeline creation, lead qualification, and discovery meetings.
- Close New Logos and Expand Business:
- Develop customized proposals that effectively communicate our client's value proposition to secure new clients.
- Expand existing customer relationships and explore new areas for revenue growth.
- Negotiate deals with legal and finance teams and possess a strong understanding of business.
- Capture business metrics and evidence of successful deals to identify patterns of impact for customers.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
- Understand the customer's business to effectively communicate in their language.
- Be prepared and knowledgeable about their strategic priorities, initiatives, and challenges to establish credibility.
- Clearly explain the value proposition while aligning solutions with the client's unique differentiation.
- Manage stakeholders from multiple departments throughout the sales cycle and implementation process.
- Oversee Full Sales Cycle:
- Nurture the sales funnel on a large scale by utilizing thought leadership content.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, including prospect evaluation, pitching, and creating tailored account strategies.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success and growth at previous hypergrowth SaaS startups.
- Passionate about AI and experienced in using the technology in a professional context.
- Quota-carrying experience with a strong focus on customer service.
- Resourceful, agile, and creative with problem-solving.
- Passionate about fostering team growth and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with a get-it-done personality and a sense of humor.
- Must be based in New York or willing to relocate.
