Role Overview
As a Technical Account Executive on our client's US go-to-market team, you will play a crucial role in expanding their presence in the eCommerce and digital retail sectors. This position is designed for someone who thrives in a scaling SaaS startup environment, managing the full sales cycle while driving revenue growth by assisting top brands in overcoming their data challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on acquiring new clients and driving expansion with existing customers.
- Build relationships with prominent eCommerce and retail brands to identify their data challenges and showcase the value of the platform.
- Develop and grow a greenfield market segment in the US eComm market.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals through effective conversion of leads and target accounts into new business opportunities.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach to understand customer pain points and deliver tailored solutions that provide business value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and optimize the sales funnel.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to effectively position the platform for clients and prospects.
- Manage opportunities and pipeline within Salesforce while meeting reporting and activity targets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a solution-based SaaS sales environment with a full sales cycle quota-carrying background.
- Proven expertise in eCommerce or digital retail, understanding industry pain points and opportunities.
- Experience with data management, analytics, or cloud platforms is preferred.
- A successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills to present and influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of SaaS sales experience with a focus on eCommerce.
- Experience in enterprise sales, including closing large six-figure deals.
- Familiarity with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
