Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales & Business Development to drive transformation in the insurance industry. In this role, you will engage with life insurance carriers, demonstrating how our client can help them grow revenue and improve profitability by utilizing their technology platform. You will become a trusted advisor to business leaders and assist them in achieving their strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business development process and account strategy for generating and developing opportunities with large enterprise partners in the life insurance sector.
- Manage multiple opportunities through various stages of the business development cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and serving as the primary contact.
- Influence key decision-makers at target carriers and position the client's platform through value-based selling and business case development.
- Conduct in-depth discovery of carrier needs to inform business strategy and roadmap.
- Deepen relationships with carriers to expand product distribution channels and identify additional revenue opportunities.
- Set, track, and exceed revenue goals for the enterprise SaaS business.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in business development, management consulting, or enterprise SaaS sales.
- Life insurance experience is essential, either through working in the industry, consulting for insurance carriers, or providing technology-enabled solutions to life insurance clients.
- Experience with enterprise sales and partnerships, particularly in securing buy-in from multiple decision-makers, is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality with the ability to cultivate and develop new relationships from the ground up.
- Proactive attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong bias toward action.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
