Role Overview
Our client is seeking a VP of Sales to join their dynamic team. This role will be critical in building and scaling the sales team, offering high ownership and exposure to AI, health-tech, and a fast-moving growth-minded tech startup.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline in the midmarket healthcare provider group segments.
- Act as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for the go-to-market strategy and achievement of revenue targets.
- Recruit top-performing Account Executives and Business Development Representatives to build the sales team.
- Support the sales team as an executive sponsor on large contracts.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
- Build the frameworks, models, and processes required to mature the sales organization into a repeatable, scalable function.
- Play a key role in building the company culture as it grows.
- Take full ownership of your book of business, being accountable for delivering results and driving revenue growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling B2B midmarket sales organizations in tech.
- Proven track record of owning revenue targets for companies with <$5M in revenue and growing to $15M+.
- Experience in building and optimizing scalable processes to achieve revenue targets.
- Strong experience managing and scaling a sales team with the ability to support them in a player-coach role.
- Must be able to work full-time in the office in San Francisco, CA.
